Remnant II has just landed with a bang, and if you’ve pre-ordered or bought the Deluxe/Ultimate edition, you are in for extra treats. Fortunately, they aren’t too difficult to acquire, and unlike other editions of games, all rewards included in any edition besides DLC can be earned by playing.
What’s included in the Pre-Order Bonus?
If you managed to secure yourself a pre-order before Remnant II’s release, then you’ll be able to kickstart the game fully loaded with a brand-new Archetype. The Gunslinger is about all things shooting and killing for you trigger-happy gamers.
How do I Redeem the Remnant II Pre-Order Bonus?
Most games let you redeem your pre-order goodies, usually after the tutorial or when substantial progress has been made. Fortunately, Remnant II allows players to pick it up right away. Simply start a new game and play through it until you reach Ward 13. This is a hub world, and after talking to some NPCs, you will need to speak to a character called Wallace out on the docks. He can be located on the map below.
Deplete his dialogue, and the choice for the Gunslinger Archetype will be available alongside the other starter Archetypes. As this pre-order reward is down to player choice, gamers will be presented with 5 Archetypes but can only select one. This means players aren’t locked into playing just the Gunslinger if they’ve pre-ordered but have the choice to use it at the start.
It’s worth noting that even if fans don’t choose the Gunslinger, you can still unlock it many hours later, regardless of whether you’ve pre-ordered or not.

If you’ve purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate edition, you’ll be able to get your hands on some extra gear and items to help you battle your way out of the early hours.

The Gunslinger Archetype is a Pre-Order bonus only, so if you’ve picked up any of these editions after the game’s launch, you won’t be able to start with it. Not to worry, as there are 4 other classes to choose from.
How do I Redeem the Deluxe/Ultimate Edition Bonuses?
Unlike the Gunslinger pre-order bonus, gamers won’t start with all these neat rewards. Instead, you’ll have to play through the game a little longer to unlock these. Players will have to complete the tutorial, and upon entering the first world through the World Stone, the Deluxe/Ultimate edition rewards will be granted to you. Simply open your inventory to see all purchased bonuses and equip any of the armour sets you’d like.
If you’ve purchased the Ultimate Edition, Gunfire Games has promised 3 additional DLC drops in the near future. Although you may have to wait a while for this, there will be plenty of content to pull the trigger on and many deaths to shake off before you’ll even be thinking about it.
