Plus, other stuff!

PS Plus
PS Plus

Since being introduced on the PlayStation 3, a few things have changed about PlayStation Plus, one of the biggest being that you no longer get Plus games for the PlayStation 3 itself. With PlayStation Plus coming to the PS5, though, we can look forward to a whole generation of “free” games that are included with the price of the subscription, depending on whether you’re subscribed to Essential, Premium, or Extra.

Check out all the free PS5 PlayStation Plus Essential games available over the years and months below.

Do I Keep These PlayStation Plus Games Forever?

Destruction AllStars
Destruction AllStars

You keep these games to play on PS5 as long as you are an active Plus subscriber, which, if you’re planning on using the PS5 to play games online, is kind of a requirement. The games will be locked if you cancel your subscription, but you can pick up where you left off if you reactivate your subscription at any time.

Unfortunately, the PlayStation Plus Collection of games will be removed by Sony on May 9th, though if players claim the games on offer, they’ll still keep them when the service ends. You’ve not got much time, so claim those games while you can.
