Horimiya: The Missing Pieces (Japanese title: Horimiya: Pieces) isn’t really a sequel. Instead of continuing the story, it will simply adapt the parts of the manga that Season 1 missed. Hence the name “The Missing Pieces.” But hey, any new Horimiya content is welcome, right? If you’re excited about it, this Horimiya: The Missing Pieces episodes guide will help you prepare for each episode’s arrival.

Unfortunately for people waiting for an actual sequel, a true Horimiya: Season 2 seems unlikely. The manga already ended, and the anime covered it from start to finish, with some skipped parts in the middle. The anime producers have to wait for Hero, the writer of the manga, to make a sequel manga. Otherwise, it seems that Hori and Miyamura’s story has reached a happy ending.

While short seasonal anime like Horimiya: Season 2 usually run smoothly, that may not be the case this time. They claim it is due to “organizational reasons.” Hopefully, no breaks occur, but there’s no way to say for sure.
